Long Beach street tracker. Flat paint, short gears.
The story
Second one of these we've built, and the first one is still the bike people ask us about.
It's an XL883 bored to 1200, geared two teeth shorter than stock, and wrapped in a hand-formed alloy tail. Flat grey paint, no clear coat, because a street tracker that looks precious is a contradiction.
We ride it to the shop most days. It's the fastest way to get anywhere in this city under thirty miles an hour.

From the shop
We started building street trackers because nobody was making the bike we wanted to ride to work.
