The story
The build
We don't build many Knuckleheads because we don't find many Knuckleheads. This one came out of a barn in Wisconsin with the original title in the toolbox.
The decision on a bike like this is always the same: restore it or build it. We did neither, exactly. The motor and transmission are correct and rebuilt to spec. Everything you touch — bars, seat, pegs, controls — is ours. The frame is original and unmolested, because cutting a '46 frame is something you can only do once.
The result is a bike that a purist can look at without flinching and a chopper guy can ride without apologizing for.
